ENGLISH ??: Sea Shepherd Global; On August 16, 2018, about 80 pilot whales and at least 13 Atlantic white-headed dolphins, including pregnant mothers and young animals, were mercilessly slaughtered on the #Faroe Islands during the ninth hunt this year. The massacre took place in #Hvannasund, in the northeastern part of the #Danish archipelago.
#SeaShepherdUK volunteers were there to document the whole thing. Unfortunately, it is not possible to intervene due to the local laws protecting the whalers.

August 2018 wurden auf den #Färöer Inseln während der neunten Treibjagd in diesem Jahr etwa 80 #Grindwale und mindestens 13 Atlantische Weißseitendelfine samt trächtigen Müttern und jungen Tieren erbarmungslos abgeschlachtet. Das Massaker fand in #Hvannasund, im nordöstlichen Teil der zu #Dänemark gehörenden Inselgruppe statt.
Freiwillige von #Sea #Shepherd #UK waren dort, um das Ganze zu dokumentieren. Leider ist es aufgrund der dortigen Gesetzeslage, welche die Walfänger schützt, nicht möglich einzugreifen.
